The SawSmith documentation has 1959 and 1960 dates. The Fun With a Saw book has a 1961 copyright date. I had thought that Dad bought the radial in 1960. But, as of August 2025 and the copyright find.....I'll guess he bought it in 1961. I know he had it in his tiny back yard shop in Clovis, and we moved to the country about Sept.1, 1962

I remember that he first brought home a ShopSmith, but had to take it back because of a bent shaft. The SawSmith was what he brought home in exchange.
